What you’ll do and what success looks like in this role:

• Responsible for the engagement with various functional teams to support the delivery of WeLab Bank's business priorities and plans
• Drive a consistent approach to project management, ensuring adherence to best practices, methodologies, and industry standards
• Identify and prioritize projects based on strategic alignment, resource availability, and business impact
• Work closely with Senior Management/Department Heads to ensure effective project management and implementation, as well as fostering a positive and productive work environment that encourages open communication and knowledge sharing
• Define and enforce project governance standards, including project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure
• Direct the activities of the project team and determine how team resources should be allocated; manage and monitor the project lifecycle against the required methodology, standards, time frame and budget
• Establish strong relationship with key stakeholders for alignment of expectations and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle
• Provide regular updates on project status, risk, and performance to relevant stakeholders

What Is Required And What We’re Looking For

• University degree or above with qualification of PMP
• Minimum 10 years of working experience in project management of FinTech, banking or insurance
• Experience in waterfall and agile project management and delivery
• Strong written and verbal communications, analytical, problem solving, organizational and interpersonal skills
• Excellent judgment with proven ability to identify problems and deal with complex issues
• Demonstrated leadership and business management ability to establish and manage a high-performance team
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize and deliver high quality work
• Self-motivated and a collaborative team player with great sense of ownership
• Fluent in verbal and written English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
