Welder (MIG/MAG - Machine Building)

Minimum Requirements

• Valid passport (essential for relocation)
• Red Seal Certification (non-negotiable)
• Coded Welder Certification
• Minimum 2+ years’ working experience
• Under 30 years of age
• Willing and able to relocate internationally

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MIG/MAG welding on steel constructions and fabricated structures
• Read and interpret technical engineering drawings independently
• Assemble and weld components to specification and tolerance
• Ensure weld quality and structural integrity throughout
• Conduct visual inspections and basic quality control checks
• Maintain welding tools and equipment in good working order

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Essential:

• N3 Welding Certificate plus completed Trade Test (equivalent to Dutch MBO 3–4 Lasser)
• Valid Coded Welder Certification
• Proven experience in machine building or heavy fabrication
• Ability to read and work from technical drawings independently
• Willing and able to relocate to the Netherlands

Advantageous:

• Afrikaans speaking (significantly accelerates Dutch language integration)
