Our client, a leader in the beauty and wellness industry, is seeking a passionate and experienced Wellness Program Manager to oversee and enhance their comprehensive employee wellness initiatives. This role is essential for promoting a healthy and supportive work environment. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing a wide range of wellness programs focused on physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Your duties will include designing health challenges, coordinating workshops and seminars, managing partnerships with wellness providers, and tracking program effectiveness. Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills are paramount. This position requires a hands-on approach and a genuine commitment to employee well-being. You will work closely with HR and other departments to ensure successful program integration and high employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive employee wellness strategy and program calendar. Design and execute various wellness initiatives, including fitness challenges, mindfulness sessions, nutrition workshops, and mental health support resources. Coordinate and schedule wellness activities, speakers, and events. Manage relationships with external wellness vendors, consultants, and healthcare providers. Promote wellness programs effectively to maximize employee participation and engagement. Collect, analyze, and report on program data to measure impact and identify areas for improvement. Stay current with wellness trends, research, and best practices to ensure program relevance. Manage the wellness program budget effectively. Collaborate with HR and leadership teams to integrate wellness into the company culture. Address employee inquiries and provide support related to wellness programs. Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety regulations. Develop communication materials, such as newsletters, intranet content, and promotional flyers. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Health Promotion, Public Health, Human Resources, Kinesiology, or a related field. Certifications in wellness coaching or health education are a plus. Minimum of 4 years of experience in program management, specifically in corporate wellness or a related health promotion field. Proven experience in designing, implementing, and evaluating wellness programs. Strong knowledge of health and wellness principles, including physical, mental, and nutritional well-being. Excellent project management, organizational, and planning skills. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Experience in budget management and vendor relations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with wellness platforms is advantageous. Ability to motivate and engage diverse employee populations. Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities. A genuine passion for health and wellness. This role is based in our office located in Gombe, Gombe, NG and requires regular on-site presence to effectively manage and engage with employees.
