Our interdisciplinary team of IoT experts, engineers, and data analysts is developing the battery cells of the future in the field of Data Science and Front-End Development. As part of a pilot line for battery cell production, we are combining state-of-the-art IoT and AI technologies with our highly automated factory to improve efficiency and quality based on data-driven decision-making.

What awaits you?

  • You will support our technologists in defining relevant process parameters.
  • You will also participate in structuring the process data of the systems.
  • Furthermore, you will help conceptualize the data transmission logic.
  • You will also support the modeling of the communication interfaces (OPC UA) of our production facilities.
  • You will also participate in data validation, plausibility checks, and data cleansing.

What do you bring?

  • Studies in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, computer science (business or otherwise), natural sciences, or comparable fields.
  • Interest in innovative IT topics at the interface between process engineering, mechanical engineering, IoT, and data analytics.
  • Confident handling of PLC programming IEC 61131-3, Siemens TIA Portal (SIMATIC STEP 7).
  • Knowledge of OPC UA data modeling (SiOME) and E-Plan is desirable.
  • Prior knowledge of SQL, Python, BI tools, and data analytics is an advantage.
  • Analytical thinking, understanding of machinery, as well as communication and teamwork skills.
  • Very good German and good English skills.
