A task that challenges
- Process Mining Use Cases: As a working student, you will support our team in the development, implementation, and continuous optimization of process mining use cases based on Celonis – from data connection to in-depth process analysis.
- Data Engineering: You will work in data engineering on the modeling, transformation, and cleaning of large amounts of data, including in Databricks with PySpark and SQL.
- Data Pipelines: You will develop and improve robust data pipelines that reliably and performantly supply our process mining analyses.
- KPIs & Dashboards: You will create KPIs, dashboards, and monitoring setups for monitoring relevant data flows and deriving meaningful process insights.
- Technologies & Innovation: You will actively try out new technologies and methods related to process mining, automation, and data processing and proactively share your findings with the team.
- Quality & Automation: You will participate in testing, quality assurance, and the automation of workflows and contribute your own ideas for the continuous further development of our solutions.
- Agile Collaboration: As a full member of our Scrum team, you will present your results in meetings and work closely with data engineers, process experts, and product owners.
A background that convinces
- You are an enrolled Bachelor's or Master's student in (Business) Informatics, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Data Engineering, or a comparable field of study.
- You have very good Python skills and initial experience with Git.
- Ideally, you already have initial contact with process mining (e.g., Celonis).
- Initial experience with Databricks, PySpark, or SQL-based data pipelines is a plus.
- You work analytically, structurally, and solution-oriented – especially with complex data tasks.
- Knowledge in the cloud environment (e.g., Microsoft Azure) is desirable.
- Further plus points: GitLab, Docker, PostgreSQL, Azure Data Services, Data Pipelines.
Our team is distributed across Germany – you should be able to plan occasional trips for in-person appointments.
The role is otherwise largely executable remotely.
- You speak German at C1 level and English at B1 level at a minimum.
