General Information

The assignment takes place on-site in our cooperation office SHARE at KIT (Schaeffler Hub for Advanced Research) in Karlsruhe. Through our Company on Campus concept, we offer you the unique opportunity to integrate and network within the Schaeffler Group while also getting to know KIT from a different perspective. This allows you to work in the exciting environment between industrial development and university research. As our office is located directly on the KIT campus, studying and working as a working student are ideally combined.

Your Tasks

• Support in data processing, e.g., processing large volumes of data, reorganizing into uniform formats, and organizing the data structure
• Creation of a uniform cluster database in SQL
• Evaluation and interpretation of electrochemical measurement data from an energy storage technology with a focus on cell tests and impedance spectroscopy
• Use and creation of programs for data processing and storage as well as data visualization (Azure Cloud, MATLAB, Power BI)
• Creation of technical reports, graphics, and presentations

Your Profile

• Studies in engineering or natural sciences
• Practical experience in MATLAB and SQL
• Proficient in MS Office
• Prior knowledge of Azure Cloud, Power BI, and/or Python is desirable
• Knowledge of fuel cell technology is desirable
• Teamwork and sense of responsibility
• Independent, structured, and self-reliant work style
• High motivation and interest in working on technical issues
