Our client, a well-respected HVAC product company in New Jersey, is looking for a Wholesale Account Executive to grow their business in their Franklin Lakes territory.

The position includes both new business acquisition and relationship management to encourage further growth with plumbing contractors, HVAC contractors, and property managers.

Responsibilities

  • Make daily sales calls on existing and prospective customers.
  • Prospect for new potential clients.
  • Build and maintain sales pipeline.
  • Conduct sales presentations and trainings.
  • Provide consultative technical assistance via phone, email and in-person.
  • Manage a portfolio of accounts ensuring profitable sales growth.
  • Network with relevant industry professionals to continue to expand brand presence.
  • Represent the company at relevant industry events and trade shows.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Experience working in the plumbing or HVAC industry, especially with heating and cooling equipment.
  • Experience with relationship-based selling.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft products.
  • Must have strong organizational skills.
  • Must be a self- starter.
  • 2+ years’ experience in outside sales and/or new business development.
  • Contractors in plumbing or HVAC looking to make a career transition will also be considered.
