Windows Systems Engineer (m/w/d) – PowerShell / GPO / Python

Project

For an infrastructure project, we are looking for an experienced Windows Server Engineer (924780LP) to support the engineering, operation, and further development of a Windows Server environment. An extension of another 10-12 months is expected.

Responsibilities

• Engineering, operation, and further development of Windows Server environments
• Ensuring stable, secure, and automated operation of the Windows Server infrastructure
• Automation of operational and deployment processes using PowerShell and Ansible
• Management and design of Group Policies
• Patch and update management including WSUS
• Participation in infrastructure projects
• Support in 2nd and 3rd level support

Requirements

High expertise required in:

• Windows Server (Design, Operation, Troubleshooting)
• PowerShell (Scripting and Automation)
• Ansible (high level of knowledge or clear willingness to acquire it quickly)

Good to medium knowledge in:

• VMware (vSphere)
• Group Policies
• Windows Update / WSUS
• Python
• CI/CD Pipelines
• Git
• SAFe

Basic knowledge in:

• Linux

Languages

German: Fluent (Min. C1)
