Windows Infrastructure Engineer (Cloud & Automation)

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Windows Infrastructure Engineer to support and optimize enterprise environments across on-premises and cloud platforms. This role focuses on identity and access management, infrastructure automation, and secure system configuration, with exposure to cloud environments such as Google Cloud VMware Engine (GCVE).

Key Responsibilities

• Design and manage Windows-based identity and access management (IAM), including Active Directory, security groups, and access controls
• Configure and maintain file systems, including UNC shares and permissions
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform and Ansible
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell and CLI tools
• Support and maintain SQL-based workloads where required
• Collaborate with cloud and infrastructure teams to deploy and optimize environments
• Ensure system security, compliance, and performance across infrastructure

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience with Windows Server environments and Active Directory (IAM)
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, Ansible)
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and command-line tools
• Experience managing file systems, permissions, and network shares (UNC)
• Basic to intermediate experience with SQL systems
• Experience working in hybrid or cloud environments

Nice to Have

• Experience with Google Cloud VMware Engine (GCVE)
• Familiarity with VMware environments
• Experience with Microsoft HPC Pack or cluster-based systems
• Exposure to high-performance or distributed computing environments
