DTM Elite Consulting GmbH is looking for an experienced Business Analyst (m/f/d) to support our clients in the analysis, optimization, and digital transformation of their business processes. The position is predominantly remote, with occasional on-site client appointments. You will work closely with business departments, project managers, and development teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure project success.

Responsibilities

• Gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements (Requirements Engineering)
• Creating user stories, business concepts, process models (BPMN), and specifications
• Conducting workshops and interviews with stakeholders from various business areas
• Analyzing current processes and developing and evaluating future concepts
• Acting as the interface between business departments and IT development – translating business requirements into technical specifications
• Supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and quality assurance measures
• Creating decision proposals and presentations for management
• Actively participating in agile projects (Scrum / Kanban) as a Product Owner or BA
• Stakeholder management and proactive communication within the entire project environment

Requirements

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable qualification
• At least 3 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst, Consultant, or in a similar role
• Sound knowledge in requirements gathering and documentation (e.g., according to IREB/BABOK)
• Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe) as well as classic project management
• Proficient use of common tools: Jira, Confluence, Visio, MS Office / 365
• Knowledge of process modeling (BPMN 2.0) is an advantage
• Experience in the SAP environment (e.g., S/4HANA, SAP ERP) is a plus
• Analytical thinking and a structured, solution-oriented approach
• Strong communication and moderation skills
• High level of initiative and ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Teamwork skills and diplomatic tact in dealing with different stakeholders
• Very good German language skills (C1/C2) and good English language skills, both written and spoken
• Willingness to travel for occasional on-site appointments (approx. 1 day/week on average)
