Your Role

Do you want to actively shape Cyber Security and create real added value through intelligent automation? In this position, you will develop modern automation solutions and work closely with national and international Cyber Security teams. Interested? We look forward to your application.

These exciting tasks await

• You will identify automation needs within E.ON CERT Germany, analyze functional and technical requirements, and derive suitable solutions.
• You will develop and operate automation solutions based on Security Automation and Response (SOAR) and other automation tools.
• You will participate in the development and connection of interfaces and APIs between different security technologies to automate processes efficiently.
• You will design and optimize the team's daily workflows through targeted automation and process improvements.
• You will create and maintain technical documentation, thus contributing to the transparency, traceability, and sustainability of the solutions.
• You will work internationally, cross-functionally, and across locations in interdisciplinary teams as part of E.ON Cyber Security and participate in joint meetings at various locations within Germany.

A profile that excites us

• You have a degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, IT Security, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable technical field.
• You have sound professional experience in the development and implementation of automation solutions.
• You possess in-depth knowledge of software development and/or scripting, especially in Python.
• You are capable of analyzing automation requirements in cross-functional teams and with external service providers and implementing them in a solution-oriented manner.
• You work independently, show initiative, and drive your topics forward in a structured way.
• You are willing to collaborate across locations and attend occasional team meetings at various locations within Germany.
• You have German language skills at least at C2 level and English language skills at least at C1 level, which you use confidently in international and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Ideally, you have experience with automation solutions based on Palo Alto Cortex XSOAR or the Microsoft Power Platform.
