What Awaits You

In our team within the Digital Solutions & IT Architecture unit, you will develop IT solutions for the areas of planning, production, internal logistics & quality management. You will be the driver for innovative solutions, ensure consistent end-to-end processes, and identify global best practices for BASF Coatings locations.

• As the head of a global team of Global Process Owners and technical SAP experts, you will shape the further development of internal planning, production, and logistics processes as a Solution Architect.
• Together with our business and specialist units, you will develop the process and data architecture for planning, production, and logistics applications, including integration with our legacy systems. A special focus will be on consistent end-to-end process design that takes global EC standards and architectural guidelines into account.
• The focus will be on designing global IT processes in our newly set up SAP S/4HANA and the interfaces to local warehouse and process control systems.
• You will support the path to an independent IT landscape with architectural concepts, especially regarding the various SAP systems in the cloud.
• You will drive cross-tool digitalization with a focus on data-driven growth and automated decisions.
• Furthermore, you will inspire and develop your team, fostering an open culture of learning and collaboration to create innovative solutions together.

What You Bring

• A degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration, or a comparable field of study, as well as experience with SAP S/4HANA projects in the area of internal planning, production, and logistics processes.
• Experience in leading and managing teams, as well as many years of experience in supply chain, production, or a comparable environment.
• Enjoyment in fostering and further developing a dedicated and high-performing team.
• Analytical skills and experience with agile development models and methods, as well as process modeling tools.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in German and English.
