About the role
About
We are looking for a highly skilled WordPress Developer to translate high-fidelity designs into a premium, responsive website for a new luxury residential project. Detailed Figma will be provided. Your role is to focus entirely on the technical execution, ensuring the site is pixel-perfect, high-performing, and easy for our team to manage long-term.
Key Responsibilities
- Design-to-Code: Convert static designs into a fully functional, custom WordPress theme.
- Precision Styling: Ensure strict adherence to typography, spacing, and brand guidelines provided in the design files.
- Advanced Custom Fields (ACF): Architect the backend using ACF and Custom Post Types (CPTs) so that all front-end content (amenities, floor plans, gallery images) is easily editable without touching code.
- Interactive Features: Implement smooth UI transitions, hover effects, and parallax elements to match the "premium" feel of the design.
- Responsive Engineering: Ensure a seamless experience across all breakpoints, from ultra-wide monitors to mobile devices.
Technical Requirements
- Expert Proficiency: PHP, HTML5, CSS3/SASS, and JavaScript (jQuery or Vanilla JS).
- WordPress Core: Deep understanding of the WordPress template hierarchy and creating custom themes from scratch (or using a starter theme like Underscores/Sage).
- Optimization: Expertise in Core Web Vitals, image optimization, and clean code practices.
- Portfolio: Must demonstrate previous experience building websites based on professional design handovers.
How to Apply
Please submit your portfolio and a link to your GitHub (if available).
- Important:* Please highlight 2–3 projects where you successfully translated a complex design into a live WordPress site.
