Job Description

The Workday Enterprise Solutions Architect will be an integral part of CAI's technology team. Working cross-departmentally, this role will be crucial in ensuring the successful implementation of large-scale technology projects that will support CAI's future growth. The successful candidate will frequently interact with CAI's executive team and will need to adeptly manage multiple priorities. This position provides the flexibility of full-time remote work.

What You'll Do

• Understand and translate business requirements into effective and manageable solution architectures and design specifications.
• Lead and participate in the design and execution of significant applications.
• Provide strategic guidance to optimize the core Workday ERP & HCM application suite.
• Promote the adoption of reusable architectural patterns to enhance solution agility.
• Identify and mitigate potential business risks related to solution architecture.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that business needs are met in alignment with strategic direction and project expectations.
• Design and oversee the implementation of enterprise-wide technology solutions.
• Work with various departments to understand their IT requirements and deliver appropriate solutions.
• Offer guidance and direction to IT teams regarding technology standards and best practices.
• Ensure solutions are aligned with overall enterprise architecture and IT strategy.
• Conduct risk assessments and devise effective risk mitigation strategies.

What You'll Need

Required:

• A Bachelor's or advanced degree in IT, computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• Over 10 years of technology experience with significant emphasis on Workday.
• Thorough knowledge of all phases of software development life cycle and solution delivery for web, client‑server, and cloud‑based systems.
• Demonstrated experience in roles such as architect, project manager, or developer.
• Possession of relevant certificates demonstrating knowledge and competency.
• Exceptional skills in solution definition and problem‑solving.

Physical Demands

• Ability to perform essential job functions safely and successfully.
• Primarily sedentary work that involves remaining stationary most of the time with occasional movement for meetings and collaboration.
• Capacity to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $170,000 – $190,000 per year. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as location, experience, and education. Benefit packages include medical, dental, and vision insurance, along with access to a 401k retirement account. Employees in this role receive paid time off and may also qualify for additional sick leave and/or other paid time off as per applicable law.
