Workday Financials developer

Job Summary

We are seeking a Workday Financials Consultant with strong functional and/or techno-functional expertise to support implementation, enhancement, and support of Workday Financial modules. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with core financial processes and a solid understanding of business operations.

• Knowledge of Workday Financials, Revenue Management, Cash Management, Accounts Receivable, Billing, Customer account and Banking.
• Hands on experience with Workday report creation and debugging report performance and security issues-custom advance, matrix reports, and experience utilizing different calculated fields using different business objects.
• Understanding of Workday Customer Contracts, Invoices, Billing schedules, Revenue Recognition Schedules and Financial Management.

Understands design patterns and anti-patterns including parallel processing for building studio integrations dealing with high volume.

• Experience with Workday bi-annual feature releases and working with Workday Support and utilizing Ask an Expert. Should be able to review release notes, exception reports, Workday roadmap items to determine what is beneficial. Ability to advise on best practices. and identify new features and functionality to leverage.
• Hands-on experience building complex inbound & outbound integrations, Strong knowledge of XML, XSLT 3.0, web services (SOAP/REST API), authentication including Oauth, Experience handling EIB vs Studio use cases (they should know when to use which) and Debugging and error-handling in Studio
• Experience with extend is a plus
• Experience with Kainos test automation, regression test existing functionality, and ensure there are no SLA impacts.
• Expertise in with Workday Security and assigning User- and role-based security groups
• Experience with Vertex is a plus
