The Workday Financials Product Manager will lead the strategic vision, roadmap, and successful implementation of the Workday FINs platform. This role combines project management skills, product management, and stakeholder engagement, driving transformation and delivering business results across finance operations. The Product Manager will oversee multiple projects, delegate tasks efficiently, influence organizational change, and cultivate ownership and buy-in from all stakeholders.

Please note that this position supports a hybrid work model, allowing flexibility and work-life integration. Candidates must be located within 30 miles of our Lincoln, Nebraska office, where you will collaborate with your team in-person three days a week.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Product Management:

  • Define and communicate the product vision.
  • Create strategic roadmaps driven by business objectives and system utilization.
  • Consistently improve finance processes for efficiency.
  • Maintain and enhance the FINs technology landscape.

Project Management:

  • Manage multiple projects, set priorities, delegate tasks, and ensure accountability.
  • Track progress and report key metrics to stakeholders.
  • Facilitate productive meetings and sprint planning sessions.

Stakeholder Engagement & Change Management:

  • Build strong relationships with finance teams and stakeholders.
  • Translate stakeholder needs into clear requirements and user stories.
  • Drive user enablement and feature adoption, supporting training and implementation.

Governance & Collaboration:

  • Represent FINs in governance forums and executive meetings.
  • Collaborate with developers, integration teams, and other platform owners.
  • Partner with global process owners to enhance service delivery.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance information system management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Workday Financials modules (Financial Accounting, Procurement, Expenses, Reporting & Analytics, Prism, Adaptive).
  • Strong project management expertise.
  • Experience in product ownership or Agile methodologies.
  • Background in finance or accounting, with knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
  • Technical proficiency with Workday Studio, EIBs, integrations, and reporting logic.
  • Experience managing multiple projects/programs in a complex, global organization.
  • Strong skills in change management and training.

The pay range for this position is $100,000-$125,000 annually, based on experience.
