At BCI, our Workday platform is evolving as fast as the organization around it. We're hiring a Platform Engineer who brings deep integration expertise, thinks beyond the ticket, and has a genuine interest in shaping how one of Canada's largest institutional investors operates. The person in this role won't just maintain integrations — they'll drive platform maturity, influence how we work, and leave a mark on how BCI operates. We're hiring at Level II or III based on what you bring.
THE OPPORTUNITY:
You'll own the engineering, reliability, and evolution of BCI's Workday platform, building and sustaining integrations, configuring platform capabilities, and ensuring dependable data flow and reporting across HR, Finance, Payroll, and Procurement. Partnering closely with vendors and internal teams, you'll design and support robust integration solutions using modern Workday tooling and API patterns, monitor platform health, and resolve complex issues through root-cause analysis. Your work will strengthen platform standards, security, and release readiness.
At Level II, you'll work independently on mid-to-high complexity integrations and stakeholder engagements, contributing to platform standards and continuous improvement.
At Level III, you'll step into a senior technical role, setting integration architecture standards, mentoring engineers, leading the most complex deliverables, and shaping platform strategy in partnership with the Senior Manager.
This position will be filled at Level II or Level III based on the successful candidate's experience and qualifications.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Service Delivery (HR, Legal, CR&A, Corporate), you’ll work within BCI’s Technology department, collaborating with stakeholders including HR, Finance, Payroll, Procurement, Cyber Security, Risk, and external vendors.
The Technology department is BCI's innovation catalyst and digital transformation engine, pioneering the future of institutional investment through cutting-edge technology solutions. We architect next-generation platforms powered by AI and cloud-native technologies that drive investment excellence and operational efficiency.
Collaboration is central to how work gets done, with cross functional teams focused on building reliable platforms, enabling intelligent automation, and supporting well governed business processes.
