About the role

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced HR Workday Solution Architect to support the ongoing optimisation and development of Workday across a global environment. You will play a key role in improving the employee experience, enhancing Workday processes, and leading international projects across HR systems and technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities to improve Workday processes and enhance the employee journey.
  • Manage and further develop Workday modules on a global scale.
  • Support HR teams across multiple locations with process and system-related questions.
  • Act as the main point of contact for Workday-related topics within HR and IT.
  • Lead complex international Workday projects and contribute technical expertise across wider transformation programmes.
  • Design and deliver training sessions on Workday functionality and best practice.
  • Coordinate and manage third-party providers supporting Workday development and maintenance.
  • Analyse technical issues and provide structured, scalable solutions.
  • Support process design, documentation, testing, and continuous improvement activities.

Required Experience

  • Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Several years of experience working within HR systems, HR technology, or IT functions.
  • Strong knowledge of Workday and expertise in one or more functional areas such as Learning, Recruiting, Core HCM, Talent, or Compensation.
  • Strong process design and business analysis skills.
  • Experience supporting international Workday projects or HR transformation programmes.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly in both German and English.
  • Strong organisational skills and a structured, proactive approach to work.
