Workflow Automation & Collaboration Tools Engineer

Overview

You will be responsible for managing our Atlassian Cloud, Jira/Confluence data center, and providing crucial support for our team. Your role will involve ensuring the efficient operation of Jira, contributing to automation and scripting solutions development, and maintaining Jira and Confluence configurations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Jira configurations such as Workflow Schemes, Field Configuration Schemes, Permission Schemes, and Notification Schemes.
• Administer Confluence Cloud.
• Exhibit strong organizational skills to effectively manage and administer the Atlassian organization.
• Design, implement, and maintain Jira automation rules to align with team requirements.
• Utilize ScriptRunner or Python scripting to enhance Jira functionality and meet automation needs.
• Engage positively with team members and stakeholders, providing support and addressing inquiries related to Jira administration.
• Utilize Jira/Confluence REST API effectively.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Jira and Confluence Cloud administration with a focus on advanced configurations and management.
• Strong understanding of Jira automation rules.
• Proficiency in ScriptRunner or Python scripting for script development and maintenance.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to respond positively to technical inquiries.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Proactive identification of areas for improvement in Jira and Confluence operations.
• Collaborative attitude and ability to work effectively in a team‑oriented environment.
• Ability to support in the NA time zone is a plus.
