About the role
Scope and Responsibilities
Technical & Engineering Oversight
- Provide advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting support for complex vehicle faults.
- Supervise and validate repair, maintenance, and installation activities to ensure adherence to OEM standards.
- Develop and implement technical procedures, guidelines, and quality control measures.
- Review and approve technical reports, repair estimates, and job completion documentation.
Operational Management
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily workshop activities to ensure efficiency and productivity.
- Optimize the utilization of manpower, tools, and workshop equipment.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards.
- Oversee inventory management, spare parts usage, and procurement processes.
Quality Assurance
- Ensure all jobs meet required quality standards before delivery to customers.
- Investigate and resolve recurring technical issues and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as turnaround time, repeat jobs, and customer satisfaction.
Customer & Stakeholder Engagement
- Handle escalated technical complaints and provide professional resolutions.
- Liaise with customers, insurance companies, and contractors on technical matters.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
Team Leadership & Development
- Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and training to workshop staff.
- Identify skill gaps and recommend training programs for continuous improvement.
- Support performance management and disciplinary processes where required.
Salary Range
N400,000 - N500,000 / month
