Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Writer based in Toronto, ON. The Writer will be responsible for creating, editing, and refining a wide range of legal, corporate, and client-facing content. Day-to-day tasks include drafting documents, researching and developing content ideas, proofreading and editing to ensure accuracy, and aligning materials with the firm’s branding and communication standards. The role collaborates closely with legal teams and support staff to produce compelling and professional deliverables.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Writing, Creative Writing, and Professional Communication
• Proficiency in Content Editing, Proofreading, and Quality Assurance
• Experience in Researching and structuring content for diverse audiences
• Ability to align content with the firm's branding strategy and tone
• Familiarity with Legal Terminology and ability to draft clear, concise, and professional legal content
• Exceptional time management skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in digital tools for content creation and editing
• Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Law, or a related field
• Experience in legal or professional services environments is an asset
