Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Writer located in the Greater Vancouver Metropolitan Area. The Writer will be responsible for creating content for marketing materials, drafting technical documents, proofreading and editing materials, and performing in-depth research. Additional responsibilities include supporting content strategy development and collaborating with different teams to create accurate and engaging written materials tailored to various audiences.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in writing, editing, and proofreading for various formats and audiences
• Experience with content strategy development and creating marketing materials
• Ability to conduct thorough research for technical and non-technical content
• Collaborative mindset with proficiency in working effectively in team settings
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and time management
• Proficiency in using digital tools for content creation and editing
• Prior experience in fire protection, safety, or technical writing is an advantage
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field is preferred
