Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Writer position based in Denton, TX. The Writer will be responsible for developing, editing, and proofreading engaging content for various platforms, including digital and print. Key duties include creating articles, press releases, website copy, email campaigns, and marketing materials, as well as conducting research and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align content with organizational goals. The Writer will also ensure content adheres to brand voice, style, and guidelines while meeting deadlines efficiently.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Writing, Creative Writing, and storytelling to produce impactful and engaging content
• Ability to Research, gather accurate information, and tailor content for diverse audiences
• Expertise in Proofreading and Editing to ensure content quality and consistency
• Familiarity with Digital Marketing and Content Strategy to craft content for online platforms
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field
• Proficiency with content management systems and tools (e.g., WordPress) is a plus
• Experience in academic or nonprofit sectors is advantageous
