Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Writer role based in Roanoke, VA. The Writer will create compelling and engaging content to promote Wildflour Cafe’s brand, craft marketing copy, and curate content for social media platforms. Responsibilities include conducting research, developing creative concepts, drafting, proofreading, and editing written materials to align with brand voice and vision. Collaborative work with the marketing and operations teams will also be part of this role to ensure cohesive content delivery across all communication channels.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Writing, Creative Writing, and Crafting engaging, persuasive content
• Experience with Proofreading, Editing, and maintaining high attention to detail
• A solid understanding of Content Strategy and ability to research effectively
• Familiarity with Social Media Content Creation and general Marketing concepts
• Superior communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Capability to meet deadlines, multitask, and adapt to a dynamic work environment
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
• Knowledge or passion for the food and hospitality industry is a plus
