Role Description

We are looking for a passionate Writer to create compelling content across sci-fi, horror, thriller, and pop culture.

This is a remote, unpaid contributor role ideal for writers looking to build their portfolio and gain exposure.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Writing articles, reviews, news updates, and editorials
• Covering horror films, sci-fi, thrillers, and viral genre content
• Pitching original ideas and staying on top of trends
• Crafting engaging, high-retention content for a genre-focused audience
• Collaborating with our editorial direction while maintaining your unique voice

Consistency is important, but the schedule is flexible.

Qualifications

• Strong writing, creative writing, and storytelling skills tailored to horror, sci-fi, and thriller genres
• Ability to research and produce engaging, accurate, and compelling content
• Solid editing and proofreading skills
• Familiarity with digital publishing and content platforms
• Awareness of current trends in horror, sci-fi, and thriller media
• Creative mindset with the ability to develop unique angles and ideas
• Strong communication and time-management skills in a remote environment

Bonus:

• SEO knowledge
• Experience with viral content or social media writing
• Passion for underground or lesser-known genre films

A degree in English, Journalism, or a related field is a plus—but not required.
