Bilingual STEM Instructor (Contract)

Role: Bilingual STEM Instructor (Contract) – Young Engineers West Island & Vaudreuil

What You’ll Do:

• Deliver engaging and interactive STEAM lessons to children
• Guide students through hands-on projects
• Facilitate individual and group activities
• Prepare lesson plans
• Manage classroom environments
• Assess students’ progress
• Promote critical thinking, creativity, teamwork, and conflict management skills
• Use provided teaching materials to enhance learning

Qualifications:

• Experience teaching, tutoring, or mentoring children
• Strong knowledge of STEAM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math)
• Ability to create and deliver engaging lesson plans and hands-on projects
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• Creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Passion for education and inspiring children
• First Aid/CPR certification is a plus
• Vulnerable Sector Police Check (completed within the last 3 months)
• Must be fluent Bilingual- English & French
