A Snapshot of Your Day

End-to-end accounting oversight: providing business accounting advisory, leading monthly closing, and preparing local GAAP-aligned financial statements with required disclosures. Prepare and review journal vouchers and audit reports, support internal/external audits, and follow up on action items from financial statement reviews. Advise on key financial statement positions with expert insights and support regional business units via project accounting guidance and general ledger reviews.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Responsible for all accounting topics (i.E. accounting advisory to the business, closing and reporting tasks, disclosure requirements)
• Preparation of financial statements (in accordance with local GAAP)
• Carry out tasks and responsibility in the areas of monthly closing activities, prepare and review journal vouchers, prepare and review audit reports and support audit activities (internal and external)
• Perform financial statement review and follow up on action items as a result of the review.
• Provide expert knowledge to the Companies’ Head of Accounting and Managing Directors with regards to the accounting for significant financial statements positions.
• Support operational activities of the Business Units in the countries with project accounting advice and general ledger reviews.
• Execute internal control.
• Communicate frequently within teams spread across the region as well as Leadership Team.
• Support ad‑hoc requirement/tasks.

What You Bring

• Degree in Accounting and Finance with at least 7 years of working experience (Big 4 accounting firms is a plus)
• Completed professional qualification eg ACCA, CPA or equivalent.
• Expert knowledge and experience in accounting for construction contracts, forex accounting, provisions and accrual.
• Well‑versed with IFRS.
• Sound knowledge of SAP.
• Able to work independently, self‑motivated, possess analytical skills and ability to adapt to change.
• Able to help other team members in providing advice for daily tasks.
• Someone who thrives in an international environment and possesses excellent communication and English skills both orally and in writing.
