ABOUT THE ROLE
The Advertising Sales Manager plays a pivotal role in expanding the client base and maximizing sales opportunities across both print and digital platforms. The candidate will manage the entire sales funnel—from initial prospecting and proposal generation to briefing and post-sale reporting—while ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and revenue growth.
MAIN DUTIES
The core objective is to meet and exceed monthly sales targets through proactive outreach and strategic planning. • Sales & Revenue Generation: Drive new print advertising sales, achieve monthly sales targets, and activate new customers through strategic selling techniques. • Relationship Management: Manage client direct and agency relationships, building strategic partnerships with key internal and external stakeholders through ongoing communication. • Operational Excellence: Compile and present ad sales proposals, engage in creative brainstorming, and ensure accurate revenue forecasting and tracking. • Market Intelligence: Keep abreast of the latest trends in media and sales effectiveness to expand the client base and inform customers of new product offerings.
REQUIREMENTS
Successful candidates will demonstrate a blend of industry expertise and a proven track record of sales performance. • Experience: 5+ years of proven print and digital advertising sales experience in a similar media environment. • Education: A relevant sales or marketing qualification. • Technical Proficiency: Digital native status, fully versed in ad formats and social platforms, with proficiency in MS Office and experience with CRM systems like Salesforce or Pipedrive. • Soft Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, numerical ability for package crafting, adaptability, and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
