The Opportunity
As an Affiliate Account Manager, you’ll play a key role in sourcing, recruiting, managing, and growing high-performing affiliates and partners for the Betway Partners Affiliate Programme across Africa. You’ll work across formal and informal markets, driving acquisition, performance, and long-term partnerships.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Build and manage strong commercial relationships with affiliates, media groups, and acquisition partners
- Recruit and activate new affiliates while re-engaging dormant partners
- Negotiate and manage commercial agreements to maximise performance and ROI
- Analyse campaign performance and develop strategies to improve results
- Plan and execute promotions to drive new customer acquisitions
- Provide regular performance reporting and insights to management
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams such as Fraud, Creative, and Operations
- Stay up to date with country-specific and product developments
- Drive innovation across new and existing acquisition channels
- Attend industry and international affiliate conferences when opportunities arise
What We’re Looking For
- Relevant tertiary qualification and/or 2–3 years’ experience in sales, account management, relationship management, or business development
- Strong understanding of online marketing metrics (CPA, ROI, etc.)
- Proven experience in client-facing roles
- Ability to operate both strategically and operationally in a complex environment
- Strong commercial acumen, negotiation, and deal-closure skills
- Analytical mindset with solid Excel and reporting capabilities
- Passion for sports and casino industries
- Entrepreneurial, deadline-driven, and resilient
- Collaborative team player who performs well under pressure
