AI Backend Engineer (m/w/d) Python / Azure

Project Description

The project involves several initiatives for developing modern AI-based solutions for automated document processing and information extraction. It covers the entire project lifecycle – from requirements analysis and solution design to development and go-live. After implementation, ongoing DevOps operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement are part of the project.

The technical focus is on backend development with Python (e.g., FastAPI), orchestration frameworks like LangChain and LangGraph, and the integration of Large Language Models (LLMs). The solution will be implemented in a Microsoft Azure environment, utilizing Azure OpenAI, Azure Document Intelligence, Azure Blob Storage, and Azure Storage Queues, among others.

Experience with event-driven architectures and integration into enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, ideally with SAP Event Mesh) is advantageous. The solution includes processing heterogeneous document formats (e.g., machine-readable and scanned PDFs) and seamless integration into enterprise systems.

Service Description

• Concept and development of backend services for document processing
