About the role
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain custom Ubuntu images for Edge AI platforms
- Develop automated disk partitioning and image deployment scripts
- Create bootable installation and recovery media using tools like SystemRescue
- Manage GRUB, initramfs, and Linux boot processes and troubleshoot boot issues
- Integrate and compile open-source libraries and frameworks optimized for GPU hardware
- Configure and maintain system services using systemd
- Diagnose and troubleshoot systems using journalctl and Linux logging tools
- Configure networking, routing, and firewall policies for edge devices
- Implement secure device identity using certificates and key management
- Support IoT connectivity and secure communication protocols
- Develop CI/CD pipelines for platform builds, packaging, and deployment
- Manage artifact repositories and versioned platform releases
- Implement licensing infrastructure and security mechanisms for edge servers
