Your mission

As an AI Engineer (m/f/d), you'll work on developing and integrating modern AI-powered copilots and agent-based systems for Intershop's Agentic B2B Commerce Platform. The focus of your position is on developing and integrating AI functionalities, as well as building a future-proof agent and AI architecture. In this role, you will gradually take on responsibility for the following tasks:

Copilots & Agents

• Conceptualization, development, and integration of copilots and AI agents
• Integration of AI features into administrative web interfaces and associated backend services
• Development, maintenance, and expansion of agent-based workflows
• Use of agent orchestration approaches

AI-Platform, Standards & Technologies

• Implementation of Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) approaches
• Use of semantic search (Vector Search)
• Development and integration of context and tooling standards for agents and copilots
• Establishment and further development of agent infrastructure and frameworks within the platform
• Evaluation of new AI technologies, models, frameworks, and tools
• Deployment and operation of AI solutions in Microsoft Azure and Microsoft AI Foundry

Full-Stack AI Development

• Integration of AI features into existing Intershop products, such as Intershop Commerce Management (ICM), SPARQUE.AI, and BI Datahub
• Contribute to full-stack AI solutions across frontend, backend, and AI compo
