In the role of AI Engineer / Data Scientist, you will work closely with the team on innovative solutions in the fields of Generative AI, Machine Learning, and Data Science. Your main tasks will include the development and optimization of machine learning and generative AI applications, the analysis of business and technical requirements, and the execution of exploratory data analyses. You will integrate data science and ML components into existing IT systems and develop MLOps workflows. Furthermore, you will take responsibility in projects and support the team through mentoring. Requirements

The ideal candidate has a completed degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a comparable field. You have practical experience in Data Science, AI Engineering, or Software Engineering, ideally in the context of consulting or digitalization. Sound knowledge in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, C#, or C++ is required. Experience with Machine Learning, Generative AI, and common frameworks and tools is an advantage. You should also have knowledge of databases and modern data platforms such as Databricks or Snowflake, as well as Big Data technologies such as Spark or Kafka. Experience with cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure) in connection with ML/AI applications is also important. An understanding of MLOps principles and initial experience with LLM-specific topics are desirable. You should have very good German and English skills and enjoy working in a team and with clients. A willingness to travel occasionally is also expected.
