AI Engineer

About

We’re hiring an AI Engineer to build and ship intelligent systems that automate real-world workflows.

This is not a chatbot role.

You’ll be working on systems that make decisions, call APIs, manage state, and handle failures in production.

What You’ll Do

• Design and build AI-driven systems that trigger real actions
• Work with APIs, data pipelines, and external services
• Handle complex workflows (multi-step processes, retries, edge cases)
• Write clean, production-ready Python code
• Make architecture decisions and ship fast

What We’re Looking For

Must-Have

• Strong Python skills
• Experience building real systems, not just demos
• Understanding of:
  • APIs and integrations
  • State management
  • Error handling and retries
• Ability to work independently in a startup environment

Strong Advantage

• Experience with agent frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, etc.)
• Experience with automation, workflows, or backend systems
• Experience building tools that interact with external services

• Chatbots
• Tutorials
• Small scripts

This role will not be a fit.

Compensation

• ₦600,000 - ₦1,000,000 (based on experience)
• Performance bonus to discussed with the right candidate
• Fully remote
