We are currently seeking a passionate and skilled AI / Machine Learning Engineer to become part of our dynamic team in the Annapolis Junction, MD area.

What You'll Do:

• Develop and implement innovative data-driven solutions using programming languages like Python and R.
• Conduct comprehensive statistical analyses—such as regression, hypothesis testing, and distribution analysis—to accurately interpret and understand data.
• Design and train machine learning models utilizing frameworks like TensorFlow and Scikit-Learn for predictive analytics and process automation.
• Engage in data wrangling to cleanse and organize raw datasets, ensuring they are primed for insightful analysis.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to align on business objectives and deliver insightful, actionable recommendations.

What You'll Need:

• 14 years of experience in software engineering, particularly in roles akin to this, utilizing languages such as C++, Python, or Go Lang.
• A Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field. (4 years of relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.)

Bonus Points If You Have:

• A solid foundation in statistics and probability, including regression analysis and hypothesis testing.
• Practical experience with machine learning frameworks like SageMaker, TensorFlow, and Scikit-Learn.
• Expertise in data wrangling methodologies to prepare raw data for thorough analysis.
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with libraries like NumPy and pandas, alongside advanced data visualization tools.
• Experience in crafting impactful data visualizations and reports tailored for diverse stakeholders.
• A proven ability to thrive both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Security Clearance:

• Candidates must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Compensation

The compensation range for this role in locations such as California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland falls between $120,500 and $221,800 USD. Please note that compensation varies based on numerous factors including office location, role, skill set, and experience levels.
