Role: AI ML Engineer
Title: AVP/VP
Location: NYC, NY (Day 1 Onsite/Hybrid) – Full‑time
Mode of Work: 3 days/week onsite required
Required Experience: 7+ years
Duration: 3 months contract opportunity
Key Responsibilities
- Curriculum Design & Delivery: Build and deliver role‑specific AI productivity training programmes tailored for financial advisors.
- Workflow Analysis: Understand current advisor workflows across client‑facing, non‑revenue, mandatory/compliance, and operational activities; identify high‑impact AI automation and augmentation opportunities.
- Tool Enablement: Train advisors on AI tools for document drafting, meeting preparation, CRM note generation, portfolio commentary, compliance documentation, email triage, and research synthesis.
- Prompt Engineering & Best Practices: Develop domain‑specific prompt libraries, templates, and playbooks for common wealth‑management tasks such as financial plan summaries, client review decks, suitability narratives, and market commentary.
- Content Curation: Maintain an evolving knowledge base of AI use cases, success stories, and reference workflows specific to wealth management.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with Technology, Operations, Product, and Advisory leadership to align training priorities with firm‑wide digital transformation goals.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in wealth management or financial advisory services with hands‑on understanding of advisor workflows.
- 3+ years in a training, enablement, or learning & development role — preferably within financial services.
- Demonstrated proficiency with generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude, Gemini) and practical experience applying them to business workflows.
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, prompt engineering frameworks, and responsible AI principles.
- Excellent facilitation and presentation skills with the ability to engage senior advisors and junior analysts alike.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience leading enterprise‑wide technology adoption or digital transformation initiatives.
- Experience building training content.
