AI Software Engineer - Agentic Systems & RAG

Your role in the team

• Architecture Development: Design and development of LLM-based multi-agent systems for automating complex analysis, documentation, and engineering processes.
• Agentic Workflows: Implementation of intelligent, iterative workflow loops (e.g., 'Propose, Refine & Revise') using modern orchestration frameworks such as LangGraph.
• Memory & Context Management: Development of robust RAG and Graph-RAG architectures as well as architectures for the long-term memory of AI agents.
• Data Integration: Connecting and managing vector and graph databases for static and dynamic context provisioning from various corporate sources.

Our expectations:

Qualifications

• Proven experience in developing LLM applications (API integration, prompt engineering, tool calling, agentic workflows).
• Experience with AI orchestration frameworks (preferably LangChain / LangGraph or comparable) is desirable.
• Knowledge in the field of RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) and experience with vector databases (e.g., ChromaDB, Pinecone, Weaviate, Milvus) are desirable.
• Touchpoints with specialized AI memory frameworks (such as Mem0 or Zep) are desirable.
• Strong analytical thinking and the ability to model complex, interconnected data and system structures.
• Structured and methodical work approach as well as professional appearance.
• Strong communication skills and a high willingness to learn.
• Very good spoken and written German skills.

Experience

• Excellent programming skills in Python and experience in backend development.
• Experience with graph databases (e.g., Neo4j) and knowledge graph modeling is desirable.
• Initial experience with agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum or Kanban) or in cross-functional development teams.

Education

• Successfully completed degree, e.g., in Computer Science, Computational Linguistics, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or a comparable field of study.
