AI/ML Solution Engineer

Our client in Financial Services is looking for an experienced AI/ML Solution Engineer to design, build, and champion enterprise-grade AI/ML products at the intersection of technology, research, and business.

The role

• Design, build and deliver AI/ML solutions based on business needs
• Contribute to a proprietary cloud-based GenAI infrastructure
• Translate between business and tech teams, from requirements through to delivery and adoption
• Being a technological leader and go-to person for the AI solution engineering team
• Represent the team across solution architecture, cloud infrastructure and broader IT
• Share knowledge across the wider Data and Analytics community

What we're looking for

• STEM degree and 2+ years in data science, software engineering, solution engineering or similar
• Strong Python, SQL and React/TypeScript skills
• Solid knowledge of GenAI/LLMs and traditional ML methods
• Clean code and clean architecture principles
• Azure and Terraform experience is a strong plus
• Clear communicator who is comfortable engaging both technical and business stakeholders
• Takes ownership, works well in complex enterprise environments
• Fluent English required

Nice to have

• Experience leading technical delivery teams
• Hands-on Azure data tooling
• Knowledge of financial or private markets
• German language skill
