AI/ML Engineer

About

We are seeking a highly skilled AI/ML Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable machine learning solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in developing ML models, working with large datasets, and building production-ready AI systems in modern cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize machine learning models using frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn
• Build and maintain data pipelines using Apache Kafka, REST APIs, and SFTP for real-time and batch data ingestion
• Perform data preprocessing, profiling, and synthetic data generation using tools like SDV, Faker, and pandas-profiling
• Focus on model training, tuning, and evaluation to improve performance and accuracy
• Work with large-scale datasets and distributed training environments
• Collaborate with backend and data engineering teams to integrate models into production systems
• Contribute to model experimentation, validation, and continuous improvement
• Work with cloud platforms (OCI preferred) for model training and data processing
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, software developers, and stakeholders

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong programming experience in Python (Java is a plus)
• Hands-on experience with ML libraries: TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, PyOD
• Experience with model explainability tools such as SHAP
• Solid understanding of data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation
• Experience working with large datasets and distributed data processing
• Familiarity with data ingestion tools such as Apache Kafka
• Experience with cloud platforms (OCI preferred, AWS/Azure/GCP also acceptable)
• Understanding of JSON and YAML for data/config handling

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to synthetic data generation techniques
• Experience working in regulated environments (federal, financial, healthcare)
• Knowledge of anomaly detection techniques
• Familiarity with MLOps concepts and model lifecycle management
• Experience with scalable distributed systems
