This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our downtown Toronto and/or Client office at a minimum 4 days per week - subject to change at any time.

Your future duties and responsibilities

  • Develop and train AI models, including LLMs, to create intelligent agents for various use cases.
  • Collaborate with the team to design and implement AI solutions for anomaly detection and payments process automation.
  • Preprocess and analyze data to ensure model accuracy and performance.
  • Deploy and monitor AI models in production environments.
  • Contribute to research and development of new AI techniques and technologies

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, with experience in machine learning libraries (e.g., Tensor Flow, PyTorch).
  • Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and techniques, including natural language processing.
  • Experience with data preprocessing, model training, and evaluation.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience using Large Language Models (LLMs) and frameworks such as Lang Chain, Langraph, and others.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Open Shift).
  • Experience with MLOps and model deployment pipelines.
  • Knowledge of payment processing systems and financial services.

Compensation

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $80,–$. This role is an existing vacancy.
