About the role
The Opportunity
Join our team as an AI/ML Solutions Engineer and play a vital role in designing and implementing innovative AI architectures that meet the operational needs of the Marine Corps. In this position, you will apply your advanced technical expertise to develop creative solutions for complex challenges. You'll work autonomously while providing mentorship and guidance to team members. By applying best-fit machine learning algorithms and technologies, you’ll contribute significantly to the direction of critical solutions and help clients navigate the evolving landscape of machine learning.
You Have:
- Over 2 years of experience in artificial intelligence, data science, machine learning engineering, software engineering, data research, or data analytics
- Proficiency in software development, gained through academic or professional settings
- Familiarity with big data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, or Databricks
- Experience programming in Python, C#, or Java
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team environment
- Skills to create scripts and programs that convert various data types into usable formats and support project teams in scaling, monitoring, and operating data platforms
- Eligibility to obtain a Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
Nice If You Have:
- Experience with generative and agentic AI technologies, including LLMs, MCP, LangChain, or LangGraph
- Embedded systems programming experience in C, C++, or Rust
- Skill in developing and maintaining scalable data stores for business analysis
- Ability to create software for retrieving, parsing, and processing structured and unstructured data
- Master's degree in a relevant field
Clearance:
Selected applicants will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

The projected salary range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 annually, depending on various factors including location and your unique qualifications. This is only one aspect of Booz Allen's total compensation package.
