Job Description

We are looking for a talented and experienced Telematics Software Application Developer to design, develop, and optimize telematics solutions for Android based platforms. The ideal candidate will work on creating innovative, high-performance applications to enhance functionality in modern telematics systems of connected vehicles.

Required Exposure

• Understanding of Android Internals and build environment with exposure to Android HAL.
• Strong programming skills in Java or Kotlin, with expertise in Android application and framework development.
• Proficiency in using the Android SDK and Android Studio for building, debugging, and optimizing applications.
• Solid understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, MQTT) for IOT.
• Experience in developing Android middleware components, services, and custom applications.
• Familiarity with debugging tools such as Logcat, ADB, and version control systems.
• Hands-on experience with telematics features like GNSS, Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth, and Cellular connectivity.
• Knowledge of real‑time data handling and integration with backend services.

Preferred add-ons

• Experience with telematics services, including cloud platforms, over-the-air (OTA) updates, and remote diagnostics.
• Knowledge of Android Framework internals and custom ROM development.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity practices for Android‑based systems.
• Android UI/UX development and performance optimization.
