Within Atos, Microsoft Practice (MIC) is a strategic business unit that supports the growing market demand for digital transformation. MIC focuses on cloud software solutions based on Microsoft products to integrate secure digital solutions into the business structure. Responsibilities
- Leading the conception of modern application architectures in cloud, hybrid, and on-premise environments based on Microsoft Azure.
- Responsibility for the technical solution design, e.g., microservices structures, API design, integration patterns, basic security concepts, and scalable data models.
- Hands-on technical collaboration with development and DevOps teams (not full-time programming) including evaluation of technical options and architectural decisions.
- Modeling of data structures (relational, NoSQL, distributed data models) and selection of suitable storage and integration approaches.
- Collaboration with DevOps in designing build and release pipelines, container concepts, and Infrastructure-as-Code (basic understanding, no cluster operation).
- Creation of architecture and solution concepts, proposals, and technical presentations for our customers.
- Working according to modern Agile and DevOps methods and adhering to technical best practices (Clean Architecture, Testability, Observability).
- Active participation in internal architecture and cloud communities and further development of our technical standards.
- Continuous development of personal expertise — we support certifications and professional deepening.
Qualifications
- Completed studies in IT or equivalent professional experience.
- Several years of experience in software development or technical implementation (e.g., .NET, C#, Node.js, or comparable technologies).
- Good knowledge in the architecture or implementation of modern applications (cloud-native, hybrid, or on-prem).
- Solid understanding of modern architectural principles (microservices, API design, messaging, event-driven patterns, clean architecture).
- Experience in data modeling (relational databases or NoSQL; basic concepts of distributed data models).
- Solid DevOps experience, e.g., CI/CD, GitHub or Azure DevOps, deployment automation, basic understanding of container concepts (Docker, AKS) – without infrastructure administration.
- Ability to make technical decisions, communicate concepts clearly, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- At least one of the following Microsoft certifications: AZ-204 – Azure Developer Associate, AZ-305 – Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or AZ-400 – DevOps Engineer Expert (one is sufficient – further certifications can be acquired with us).
- Good German and English language skills.
- Passion for learning, continuous development, and taking technical responsibility.

Compensation
We are looking for a qualified candidate for our advertised position. The minimum willingness to pay for this position is 74,000 Euros per year. However, this is only the minimum amount, and we are prepared to discuss appropriate overpayment if you bring the necessary qualifications and experience required for this position.
