Responsibilities
- As a .NET Backend Developer (m/f/d), you will develop and maintain backend services and business applications based on C#/.NET in productive system landscapes.
- You will work on the further development of data-intensive applications and support the implementation of business requirements with a focus on clean data models, performance, and maintainability.
- You will participate in data modeling and the construction of complex relational databases (SQL-based) that serve as the foundation for evaluations, reports, and analyses.
- You will work with various relational database systems (e.g., MS SQL Server, optionally MariaDB or PostgreSQL) and gain experience in handling database-related logic.
- You will process tickets, bug fixes, and minor change requests, gradually expanding your understanding of existing application and database architectures.
- In collaboration with experienced developers, you will actively contribute to design, implementation, and testing phases.
- You will use modern development tools – including GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, or comparable AI-supported tools – to assist with code creation, analysis, and code quality.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of professional experience in software development with a focus on .NET / C# (Backend)
- Very good knowledge of: C# / .NET (e.g., ASP.NET, Web APIs, .NET Framework or .NET Core) and Visual Studio
- Good knowledge of databases and data modeling: MS SQL Server, SQL / T-SQL
- Initial practical experience or basic knowledge in MariaDB and/or PostgreSQL is desirable
- Understanding of relational data models and performant queries
- Basic knowledge or experience with: version control (Git, e.g., GitHub or GitLab) and JavaScript (basic, interface or frontend-related)
- Experience with AI-supported development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, etc.) is an advantage
- Initial experience with agile tools and methods (e.g., Jira, Confluence) is desirable
- Structured, eager-to-learn approach and interest in complex business and technical contexts
- Very good German language skills, English skills for technical communication

Compensation
We are looking for a qualified candidate for our advertised position. The minimum willingness to pay for this position is 45,738 Euros per year. However, this is only the minimum amount, and we are prepared to discuss appropriate overpayment if you possess the necessary qualifications and experience required for this position.
