About the role

Responsibilities

  • Design and document application architecture as directed by the Department.
  • Provide technical training and guidance to the Department development team members as directed by the Department.
  • Provide technical guidance to the product owner as directed by the Department.
  • Assist the Department Project Manager with monitoring the development team productivity as directed by the Department.
  • Attend and participate in all ceremonies of a Scrum/Waterfall development project (planning sessions, stand-up sessions, review sessions, backlog grooming sessions, pointing sessions, and retrospective sessions) as directed by the Department.
  • Conduct code review as directed by the Department.
  • Work with the Department’s Office of Information Technology and development teams to analyze and minimize costs associated with the Azure environment.

Required Skills

  • Leadership of a successful development and implementation of an application in Azure environment.
  • A minimum of six years of architect, design and development experience with .NET application and Entity framework.
  • A minimum of eight years working with MVC.
  • A minimum of ten years of Object-Oriented programming, ASP.NET, JavaScript and application development using C#.
  • A minimum of four years working on a project using Scrum.
  • A minimum of four years with Azure Build and Deployment automation processes.
  • A minimum of three years with Azure DevOps, including pipelines, triggers, blob storage, data migration (between cloud and on-prem), data warehouse, scheduling VMs, and Web jobs, ADF, Graph API, ARM templates.
  • A minimum of three years with integrating Azure AD into a web application using OpenID Connect.
  • A minimum of two years with Azure ASE and integration with SQL MI.
  • Experience with Azure Data Warehouse and integration with SQL MI.
  • A minimum of one year with Power BI.
  • A minimum of two years with Azure cost analysis.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems or other related field; or equivalent work experience.
