Your Daily Life

The Gennevilliers Campus is the heart of design, development, and support activities for major defense systems: radiocommunications, resilient networks and infrastructure systems, satellite communications, collaborative combat, and cybersecurity. Located north of Paris, it is easily accessible by public transport.

YOUR MISSIONS:

• You are in charge of designing architectures based on IT and cloud technologies (public/private), taking into account regulatory requirements, cybersecurity risks and standards, as well as the specific needs of defense clients.
• You are involved in responding to offers as a technical expert.
• During the project execution phase, you are responsible for ensuring that the architectures developed during the design phase meet requirements, while respecting the schedule and costs.
• You are responsible for interpreting and then ensuring compliance with security requirements specific to the defense context in collaboration with the SSI teams.

YOUR PROFILE:

• You master the principles of IT architecture and Cloud Service Providers such as Google, Azure, AWS, Oracle and have already implemented these solutions - and you have more than 10 years of experience in Infrastructure System Architecture and/or Cloud.
• You speak fluent English (very good level required).
• Knowledge of the challenges of clients in the defense sectors is desirable.
• Experience in architecture of solution-oriented service systems is required.
• Good knowledge of DevSecOps/IT Ops and container orchestration is desirable.
• Knowledge of virtualization and containerization solutions is desirable.
• Listening and teaching skills, while knowing how to bring stakeholders together.
• Availability for short business trips to Thales and client sites.

Within the Customer Support and Services Sector (SSC) of the Network & Infrastructure (NIS) Domain, the "IT & Cloud Engineering" service, within the Solutions Engineering Department (SSE) in the Customer Support and Service Sector, has a rich activity in France and abroad. Nexium Defence Cloud offers and projects based on cloud technologies in the defense sector, in France, with our allies, and at NATO require strengthening the team, already strong with 45 engineers in DevOps, Systems, architects, and experts, in close collaboration with business departments and technical directorates.
