Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, cases, and procedures to ensure all systems and services meet organizational standards and end-user requirements.
• Create detailed test plans, schedules, and methodologies.
• Write and document test cases and scripts, and identify necessary data for various test scenarios.
• Collaborate and conduct walkthroughs on test cases/scripts with Test Managers, Requirement Leads, Project Managers, and Development Leads.
• Perform extensive testing of software and IT systems to verify proper operation and defect-free performance.
• Conduct verification activities using established methods and appropriate verification environments.
• Document and communicate clear test results and findings.
• Assist in analyzing test results and resolving any open issues.
• Develop solutions for complex problems and communicate progress to management.
• Propose enhancements to current procedures and future configurations.
• Create and maintain daily testing metrics and reports.
• Occasionally participate in additional IT systems engineering tasks including requirements, design, and support.
• Apply technical principles and concepts in relevant fields.
• Establish goals and objectives to meet the given assignments.
• Guide team members according to established policies.
• Assess whether objectives have been achieved.
• Provide technical solutions to intricate issues by evaluating data.
• Ensure the practicality and alignment of solutions with organizational objectives.
• Develop an independent approach to solving problems.
• Review completed work for adequacy in meeting objectives.
• Exercise good judgment in selecting effective methods and techniques.
• Contribute to the completion of specified projects and programs.
• Maintain frequent communication with diverse organizational teams and external customers.
• Represent the organization in addressing challenging technical issues in specific projects.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Strong programming abilities in languages such as C#, Java, or Python.
• A proven history of successfully managing complex software projects and delivering high-quality results.
• Experience in both manual and automated testing.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Expertise in writing and executing test cases, scripts, and comprehensive test plans.
• Deep understanding of test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, QTP, LoadRunner).
• Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools (e.g., GitHub Actions).
• Proficiency with version control systems (e.g., Git, Subversion).
• Understanding of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling).
• Proficient in defect tracking and management systems (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
• Knowledge of databases and SQL for data validation.
• Experience in testing web applications, APIs, and services.
• Familiarity with security testing practices and tools.
• Comprehensive experience with various testing types including functional, regression, integration, system, usability, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Able to work both independently and within a team setting.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on high-quality deliverables.
• Adept at managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
• Ability to mentor and support junior testers.
• Capacity to understand business needs and translate them into effective test scenarios.
• Experience with test management tools.
• Knowledge of DevOps tools and practices.
• Ability to conduct test reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Solid understanding of risk-based, exploratory, and context-driven testing methodologies.

Professional Certifications:

Advanced certifications in testing or quality assurance (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE, CSQA)

Years of Professional Experience:

10 or more years of total work experience, with at least 10 years focused on software testing and quality assurance.

Desired Experience:

• Familiarity with Electronic Data Interchange X.12 (EDI) Medical Claims (e.g., 837, 834, 277)
• Experience with cloud-based testing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)

Formal Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.

Citizenship Requirement:

U.S. Citizenship is required for this specific position.

Security Clearance Requirements:

Candidates must possess or qualify for a Public Trust (MBI) security clearance.
