Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Test Development: Create and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and procedures to ensure all systems and services meet high organizational standards and user needs. • Collaboration: Participate in test case walkthroughs with Test Managers, Requirement Leads, Project Managers, and Development Leads. • Testing Management: Lead the testing efforts on various IT systems ensuring they operate correctly and are free from defects. • Reporting: Document and share test results consistently, providing insights into performance and issues. • Problem Solving: Identify, analyze, and work to resolve complex issues by documenting solutions and reporting on their progress. • Continuous Improvement: Recommend enhancements to existing procedures and develop new models for future configurations. • Test Metrics: Create daily metrics and reports that accurately reflect testing progress. • Additional IT Support: Occasionally engage in other IT engineering activities such as requirements gathering, design, installation, and support. • Technical Expertise: Apply your technical skills to devise solutions for intricate problems and ensure they align with organizational objectives. • Team Interaction: Provide mentorship to junior testers and contribute meaningfully to team projects.

Required Skills and Experience: • Proficient programming skills in languages such as C#, Java, or Python. • A solid background in complex software projects with a focus on quality deliverables. • Experience with both manual and automated testing processes. • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). • Proficient in crafting and executing test plans, scripts, and scenarios. • Strong grasp of test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, QTP). • Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions) and version control systems (e.g., Git, Subversion). • Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling) and security testing practices. • Experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla) and database validation using SQL. • A thorough understanding of various test types including functional, regression, integration, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks effectively. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, both independently and within a team setting. • Experience mentoring junior team members and translating business requirements into actionable test scenarios.

Professional Certifications: • Advanced certifications in testing or quality assurance (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE, CSQA) are preferred.

Years of Professional Experience: • 10+ years in software testing and quality assurance. • Familiarity with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Medical Claims (e.g., X.12). • Experience with cloud-based testing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.

Formal Education: • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Security Clearance Requirements:

Must possess or qualify for a Public Trust clearance.
