These exciting tasks await

• You identify automation needs within the E.ON CERT Germany, analyze functional and technical requirements, and derive suitable solutions.
• You develop and operate automation solutions based on Security Automation and Response (SOAR) and other automation tools.
• You participate in the development and connection of interfaces and APIs between different security technologies to automate processes efficiently.
• You design and optimize the team's daily workflows through targeted automation and process improvements.
• You create and maintain technical documentation, contributing to the transparency, traceability, and sustainability of the solutions.
• You work internationally, cross-functionally, and across locations in interdisciplinary teams as part of E.ON Cyber Security and participate in joint meetings at various locations within Germany.

A profile that excites us

• You have a completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, IT Security, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable technical field.
• You have sound professional experience in the development and implementation of automation solutions.
• You possess in-depth knowledge of software development or scripting, especially in Python.
• You are capable of analyzing automation requirements in cross-functional teams and with external service providers and implementing them in a solution-oriented manner.
• You work independently, show initiative, and drive your topics forward in a structured way.
• You are willing to collaborate across locations and attend occasional team meetings at different locations within Germany.
• You have German language skills at least at C2 level and English language skills at least at C1 level, which you use confidently in international and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Ideally, you have experience with automation solutions based on Palo Alto Cortex XSOAR or the Microsoft Power Platform.
