Automation Test Engineer- Playwright

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled **Playwright Automation Engineer** to design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for web applications. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in end-to-end testing using Playwright, solid programming skills, and a deep understanding of modern web technologies and CI/CD pipelines. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using **Playwright** • Build and enhance automation frameworks (Page Object Model, data-driven, BDD, etc.) • Perform cross-browser testing (Chromium, Firefox, WebKit) • Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.) • Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams to define test strategies • Identify, document, and track defects • Maintain test data and test environments • Generate automation reports and metrics • Continuously improve test coverage and automation efficiency

Required Skills & Qualifications • 3+ years of experience in Automation Testing • 1+ years of hands-on experience with Playwright • Strong knowledge of: • JavaScript / TypeScript (preferred) • Node.js • HTML, CSS, DOM concepts • Experience with: • API testing (Postman, REST Assured, or similar) • Git version control • CI/CD tools • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies • Experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber) is a plus

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in performance testing tools • Knowledge of containerization (Docker) • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) • Experience with test reporting tools like Allure
